Another viable option is cremation.  Cremation typically costs between $175 and $400, depending on the size of the pet. Sometimes there is an additional charge for the crematory to pick up your pet and deliver the ashes later.  That fee can be between $50 to $125.  The benefits of cremation are that you can choose from so many options such as storing the ashes in an urn to scattering the ashes in a beautiful nature reserve, the beach or a special hiking trail.  In this way, your pets’ memory will live on in these locations as well as in your heart.
